In 2010 I took part in the design and fabrication of a site-specific exhibition at the Politecnico di Milano, working alongside Ing. Pierpaolo Ruttico.
The concept draws inspiration from a fluid looking ribbon designed around the spectator. The complex structure is a triangulated lattice of 1250 flat chipboard panels, made out of 11000 different parts. The algorithm that generates the ribbon is a simple rule that reiterate itself, but not in a repetitive way. The aim is to bring a sense of movement, therefore a sense of time.
